Patricia J. Castle, 71 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the Parkview Hospital located in Fort Wayne.

Patricia was born on Sunday, March 17, 1940 in New Haven, Indiana the daughter of the late Emmett Love and the late Emma (Stute) Love. She married Harold Castle and he survives.

Patricia was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville; the American Legion Post #420 Auxiliary-Monroeville; and the VFW Auxiliary-New Haven, Indiana Post. Patricia was homemaker. Pat was very fond of Bingo and spent much time playing.

Surviving are her husband, Harold Castle of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Cathy (Jeff) DeKoninck of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Cindy Wasson (fiance Joe Schmidt) of Monroeville, IN; son, Doug Castle (fiance LeeAnn Stemen) of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Caren (Dan) Hankins of Monroeville, IN; son, Dave Castle (companion Cathy Nichter) of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Carla (Rick) Messman of Monroeville, IN; brother, Jerry (Barb) Love of Monroeville, IN; sister, Gloria Lothamer of New Haven, IN; sister-in-law, Betty Love of Monroeville, IN; sister-in-law, Audine Love of New Haven, IN; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Patricia in death were 1 great-grandchild: Jacob Wasson; 3 sisters, Helen Kees, Wilma Heiser, and Anabelle Martin; and 6 brothers, Walter, Grover, Robert, Roger, Richard, and Emmett Love Jr.

A 9:20 a.m. Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville with Father Lourdino Fernandes officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS; or St. Rose Catholic Church for Masses. .
