Ephrata - Mrs. Minnie Mae (Stief) Kromer, 60, wife of Leon Kromer, Ephrata R.D. 1, died at 6:30 a.m. today in the Ephrata Community Hospital after an illness of six months.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Ella (Mellinger) Stief, Ephrata, and the late Levi F. Stief. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Denver, and the auxiliary of Cloister 429, American Legions, this place.
Surviving are her husband, mother, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Florence Hauck, Stevens; Milton L. Stief, at home; George R. Stief, Akron, and Ivan P., Ephrata.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Roseboro Funeral Home, Denver, the Rev. Ronald R. Krick officiating. Burial will be made in Memory Gardens Cemetery, East Cocalico.
