Minervia Ann Amos, 93, 1206 Morse, died Thursday in a Greenville nursing home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday ast (sic) Shiloh Church of God in Christ with Elder L.C. Crosby officiating.
Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery with Cozine Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Amos was born Nov. 13, 1892 in Wood County to Allen and Mulessie Gordon Sims. She married Matt Amos in 1929 in Hunt County. She was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Ted Payne of Ponca City, Okla., Preston Payne of Dallas, Leroy Amos and Esaw Amos, both of Greenville; two stepsons, Loyd Amos of Ponca City and Eugene Amos of Galveston; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
