Barbara J. Porter, 68, of Nett Lake, died Sunday, August 31, 2003, at the Littlefork Nursing Home. She was born May 21, 1935 in Cloquet and grew up at Nett Lake, where she lived most of her life.

Barbarais survived by her son: Brett Robertson; daughters: LuAnn (Justin Boness) Drift, Roberta Drift, Toni (Curt) Lindgren, Nadine (Chris) Luecken, Laura Strong, and Kay (Curtis) Palmer; brothers: Ernest Ernie (Betty) Drift, and Dennis (Joan) Drift; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial in the Bois Forte Cemetery.
