Born to parents John Willis Ande and Harriet L. Kitchen she married Charles Matthew Arnwine and had the following children: Clare Beatrice, Vera Louise, Arlene Frances, Allen Carleton, and Harold Freeman. From Press Enterprise, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Thursday, April 28, 1988.
Enda E. Arnwine, 94, of Catawissa R.D.1, died Wednesday at 9 p.m. at the Bloomsburg Hospital, where she had been a patient for six days. Born in West Hemlock, Montour County, she was the daughter of the late John Willis and Harriett Kitchen Ande. She lived in Catawissa since August 1979; on West Main Street, Bloomsburg, and a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Columbia Hill. Her husband, Charles M. Arnwine, died July 7, 1966; and two daughters: Beatrice Jenkins, died in April 1970; and Vera Hinkle, died on June 7, 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul J (Arlene) Truskey, with whom she resided; two sons: Allen C. Arnwine, Mifflinville; and Harold F. Arnwine, Bloomsburg R.D.1; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. Also surviving are three sisters: Myrtle Pursel, Bloomsburg R.D.4; Lois Wintersteen, Bloomsburg; and Mrs. John (Gladys) Hartman, Camp Hill. Services will be announced by Kriner-Elwell-Wilt Funeral Home, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
