Herbert is survived by his wife, Donna; his mother Irma Wiederholt in Southwest Health Center in Cuba City; his children: David (Joann) Wiederholt of Muscoda, WI; Ronald (Kathy) Wiederholt of Carrington, ND; Julie (Brian) Bagniefski of Hampstead, MD; and Richard (Jennifer) Wiederholt of Darlington, WI; three step-daughters: Mary (Wade) Corning of West Bend, WI; Marlene (Jay) Monahan of Shullsburg, WI; nine grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild; and his brothers and sisters: Alvara (Bob Francis) Kirchen of Dubuque, IA; Harold (Kay) Wiederholt of Lancaster, WI; Eileen Dunne and LaVern (Ruth) Wiederholt of Cuba City, WI; Eldon (Judy) Wiederholt of Louisburg, WI; and Mary (Greg) of Cuba City, WI. Herbert was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Janet Wiederholt in1953; and two brothers-in-law: Charles Dunne and Ralp Kirchen.
Herbert was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Shullsburg. He served in the US Army where he mastered his culinary abilities to cook. He loved to hunt and fish with family and friends, and enjoyed four-wheeling with his grandchildren. Herbert will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends.
