WALTER EUGENE ANDERSON, 64, of West Chester, PA passed away quietly on Sunday, February 19, 2012.
Born November 3, 1947 in Warwick, Bermuda, he was the son of the late Joseph Walter Anderson and Winifred Zoila Anderson.
Walter moved to the United States as a young boy. He attended West Chester Area Schools. Walter retired from West Chester University, food services.
Walter returned to Bermuda as an adult and was employed for many years as a mason. Walter enjoyed reminiscing with family and friends. He also kept up on current events through the newspaper and loved watching sports and movies. He lived and worked in Harrisburg for many years before returning to West Chester. He had an affinity for sweets and enjoyed playing pinochle.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Walter Richardson of Coatesville, and Howard Griffith of North Carolina. Two sisters Betty Fagan of Michigan, Donna Patrick of Connecticut; grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Arthur G. Anderson and Richard S. Anderson; step-brother, Joseph Anderson.
