Died 3:09 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 73, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Morganza. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home 8 to 9:50 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, celebrated by Father Maynard Hurst. Interment in GreenoaksMemorial Park. Survived by husband, William R. "Dick" Dayries Sr., Baton Rouge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Brian Von Gruben, Baton Rouge, Michelle Northrup and Houston Northrop Jr., Russellville, Ark.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rice and Suzonne Dayries, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Meredith "Tuttie" Breaux, Brownfields, Lorraine Harris and Marlene Lee, both of Baton Rouge, and Bernice Maggio, New Roads; two brothers, Edward "Brother" Millet and Charles Gerald Millet, both of Morganza; and 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph F. Millet and Marie Mathilde Dayries Millet; and a half-sister, Doris Barbier. Pallbearers will be Rice Dayries, Brian Von Gruben, Houston Northrop Jr., Edward "Brother" Millet, Charles Gerald Milletand Herb Ruff. She was a member of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
