Al L. Andrews, born Oct. 18, 1928 in Okla. City and died Feb. 18, 1992. He attended Central High School and Central State College, where he played football, and received a degree in Physical Education. For many years he managed Andrews Market on the corner of 63rd and N. Western. An active member of Sha-Babb Club of OKC, lifetime member of St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church. He was appointed Honorary Territorial Marshall of Okla. City by Gov. George Nigh.

He is survived by his wife, Scharlene of the home; son, David Andrews of Dallas, Tx; daughter, Sherri Assaleh and son-in-law Magid Assaleh of Enid, Ok.; mother, Mrs. E.H. Andrews, OKC; brother, Joe Andrews and family; 2 sisters, Thelma Kouri and family, Darlene Johnson and family; 2 aunts, Najeeba Shadid and Ann Shadid.

Trisagion services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 1992 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 1992 at St. Elijah's Orthodox Christian Church. Officiating will be the Very Reverend Constantine Nasr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flowers That Do Not Wither Fund. Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper
