Mr. Robert "Bob" Warren Milton Sr., 80 years old of Baptist, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Thursday, April 16, 1931, in New Orleans, LA son of the late Warren Addison Milton and the late Gertrude Stewart Milton.
Mr. Milton was a member of New Beulah Baptist Church and a US Navy Veteran. He was also a member of the Eastern Star #24 and the Livingston Lodge #160.
He was a retired carpenter and he owned and operated Milton's Florist for the last 37 years with his wife Dorothy.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Crayton Milton, daughter, Terri Hux, sons & daughters-in-law, Robert and Charlotte Milton Jr., Darien and Diedra Milton, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter, sister, Helen Bigner, and 2 brothers, Clarence and Eugene Milton.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, at 2:00 pm, with Rev Jimmy Wall officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
