Charles Joseph Locascio Jr., 64 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1947, in Hammond, son of the late Charles J. Locascio Sr. and the late Martha Sanders Locascio.
Surviving are brother & sister-in-law, Robert and Rosa Locascio, brother, Michael Locascio, sister, Paula Locascio, niece, Lisa Locascio.
Charles attended Holy Ghost School and was a graduate of Southeastern High School and Southeastern Louisiana College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He was an active member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Charles operated a local foundry in the 1970's working in brass and bronze statue reproductions. He was self employeed most of his life. Charles was a loving brother, proud uncle and true friend. He was a die-hard fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
Friends and relatives will be received Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 8:00 am until funeral service begins.
Services will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond, Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Bro. Rodney Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery Hammond, Louisiana.
