Pneumonia Proves Fatal in Case of Christopher F. Stahl
Christopher Frederick Stahl, aged 72 years, long a resident of Fort Wayne, died this morning at 6:45 o'clock at the home of his son, Charles Stahl, 2534 Warsaw Street, from pneumonia. The deceased was born in Germany October 27, 1830 and came to the United States in 1868, locating in Fort Wayne, which has been his home since that time. For many years, he was employed in the local Pennsylvania Shops, but retired several years ago. He had been ailing for the past two years and a few days ago, was stricken with pneumonia.
Surviving him are three children, William G. Stahl, Charles Stahl and Mrs. George H. Crouse, all of this city.
Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence of the son, Charles Stahl; services private. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
