Married Auby Ershail Palmer on December 18, 1917 in Memphis, Texas. The couple had one child, Betty June, born August 5, 1929.

Occupations included farming, hotel and restaurant operation, and real estate.

Nat and Auby Witt owned and operated a café in Memphis, Texas for eleven years. They moved to Dimmitt, Texas in 1928 where they owned and operated the Witt Hotel and the White Rose Café.

Married again after Auby's death in 1939.
