Eleanor Bittick was born in August 1792 the daughter of Francis Bittick and Mary Ann Stanfield.
Eleanor grew up in a large family and was much loved by her many sibblings and parents.
She meet and married John Francis Cheairs SR. in 1812 they had 14 children born to there marriage.
They came to Texas about 1832 John received a land grant on May-25-1835 and had a good life raising there children .
Eleanor was a Mid-Wife and she was called out late one night durning bad weather to help birth a baby and her horse slipped and fell and Eleanor was killed in 1852.
