Unlike most families in the Ozarks that came from Tennessee, Logan's family came from around St. Joseph, MO and Iowa and Ohio. They lived in the St. George area in Wright County Missouri. Logan was a proud horseman. There are photographs of him standing on horses. His father was a blacksmith. When he met Ova he thought she was the prettiest woman on earth. He made a living mostly by driving a truck. He also milked cows by hand. One of loves was fox hunting. He always had some fox hounds around. He never killed a fox. That wasn't allowed. He would love to hear his dogs barking while chasing a fox. He could tell which dog was barking.
