formerly of Los Angeles and a resident of Seattle, Washington; born on August 7, 1928 in California; died in a car accident on June 20, 1991 in Leesburg, Virginia. Daughter of the late George Campbell and the late Catherine Pritchard Campbell, she was a volunteer in human services. She is survived by her husband, Fred M. Cox of Seattle; daughter, Elizabeth Whitaker of Ellensburg, Washington; sons, Sherman Cox of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Larry Cox of Los Angeles; brothers, Harry Campbell of Los Angeles and Hubert Campbell of Huntington Beach; three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in the Children’s Defense Fund, Washington, D.C. Arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, Virginia.
