KEYSER, W.Va. — Mary Alice Alexander, 62, formerly of Frostburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 6, 1949, in Meyersdale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Walsh and Gloria (Barmoy) Walsh. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Alexander and her brother, Roger Walsh.
She worked as a nursing assistant in various nursing homes over the years. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and attended the Cabin Run Wesleyan Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Evans and husband Jon, of Keyser; granddaughters Ashley Evans, Jordan Evans, and LeAnn Evans; grandson, CJ Evans; special friends, Diann and Delmas Evans, Eleanor McFarland, and Leslie Dawson.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Strawn officiating.
Interment will be in the Emmanuel United Methodist Cemetery.
