Leona was the daughter of Patrick Sweeney and Winfrey Conley. On 26 Oct 1897 she married Carl Gutman and they had one daughter, Ethel. Carl died in 1928 and at a later date she married her second husband, Joseph Murphy. She died of carcinoma of the breast at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Cumblidge, 1046 1/2 Falls City Avenue. She was 56.
