Mrs. Emily L. Cole, a resident of Glendale for 20 years, died yesterday at her home, 430 Pioneer, from a heart attack.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. Clifford A. Cole, for 20 years pastor of Central Christian church and now state secretary of his denomination, Forrest F. Cole and Lawrence D. Cole; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Williamson; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four sisters, one of whom, Mrs. Eleanor Flint made her home with Mrs. Cole.
Mrs. Cole was a native of Brockville, Ontario, Canada. When she was a child her family moved to Nauvoo, IL and she was living there during the Morman uprising. Later she went to Kansas by covered wagon and was married near Wichita to Benton O. Cole, who died in Glendale 10 years ago.
The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the L. G. Scovern & Son Chapel of Sacred Memories and interment will be in Forest Lawn.
