Bertie Elaine Bosarge George, age 75, of Pascagoula passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 in Biloxi, MS. She was born Oct. 6, 1936 in Pascagoula and has been a lifelong resident. She began her career and retired as a Draftsman in Corp. of Engineers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Bertie Lee Bosarge; brother, Jerry Bosarge.
She is survived by her two sons, David L. George, II; Mobile, AL; Shannon DeLee George (Mary Lou), Corpus Christi, TX; three sisters and one brother, Maureen Stringfellow, Gautier; Wanda Martin (Billy), Escatawpa; Sandra Johnson (Larry), Pascagoula; Douglas Bosarge, Pascagoula; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 24,2012, 6:00-8:00pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, 10:00am, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Horace Vincon officiating.
Mrs. George requested in lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Pascagoula.
