Ephraim Cater SO #31926, SC #23038, bounty land 2937-160-55. Service Capt. John W. HAYS Co. New Hampshire Military. Enlisted Sept. 12, 1814. Discharged Sept. 29, 1814. Resided 1855 - 1878 Barrington, Strafford Co., New Hampshire. Soldier alleges that he served as substitute for John Cater.
