Ronald E. Dahlberg, age 80, of Rockford, IL died at 3:36 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.
Born Sept. 15, 1931, in Rockford, IL; the son of Virtol and Edith (nee Gray) Dahlberg. Served in the US Navy. He married Beverly J. Clark on Dec. 23, 1951, in Creston, IA. Ronald worked in contractual services for the Sundstrand Aviation Division, retiring in 1985, after 30 years. He was a member of the Navy Club of Rockford.
Survived by his wife, Beverly.
Predeceased by his son, David.
The family would like to give many thanks to the doctors and staff at Provena St. Anne Center. Private graveside service will be held. Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
