Kenneth Ray Gray was born on March 30, 1950, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of the late Herman and Patty Jo McCulley Gray. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hacker Gray of London, Kentucky, one son: Kevin Ray Gray of London, Kentucky, four sisters: Nancy Watkins, Sue Proffitt and Ann Price, all of London, Kentucky, and Teresa Kay Whitaker of Somerset, Kentucky, three step-children: Brian Brummett, Jason Brummett and Christina Holt, all of London, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son: Kenneth Ryan "Rybo" Gray.

He was a retired telephone company supervisor and a member of Soul's Harbour Church, where he served on the Board.

Kenneth Ray Gray departed this life at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, on Thursday, February 16, 2012.
