Cornelius Adamchak
Cornelius "Con/Whitey" Adamchak, 64, of Wayne, N.J., died on June 13 at his home. Born April 29, 1933, in Korn Krest, Hanover Township, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Julia Hawrylak Adamchak.
He graduated from Hanover High School and King's College, Wilkes-Barre. He also attended Penn State University.
He served with the U.S. Army Reserves from 1959 to 1964.
Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed as a sales manager by Burroughs Wellcome, Research Triangle Park, N.C., for 32 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church, Wayne, and its Holy Name Society; and Wayne Elks Lodge 2181.
Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor (Ellie) Wnorowski; a son, Erik, Mahwah, N.J.; daughters Susan and Cory, both at home; a granddaughter; and a brother, Daniel, Hanover Green, Hanover Township.
Funeral services were held on June 17 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne, with a Requiem Divine Liturgy conducted in Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Interment was held in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, N.J.
