Sister Jeanette E. LaRosee was a member of the Religious of Christian Education order for 47 years. She entered the religious order after graduation from Jeanne d'Arc Academy, Milton. In July 1934, she received the religious habit of the Congregation, and in 1941, took her final vows at Marycliff Academy, Arlington. Sister Jeanette taught at both Jeanne d'Arc and Marycliff Academies. In 1958, she became a missionary in Dahomey, French West Africa, now the kingdom of Benin. She returned to the United States in 1965, and received her appointment to the General Council of the Religious of Christian Education in Paris, France. She also earned a master's degree in religious education from Boston College.
