Born in Kenhorst, she was a daughter of the late Lynton R. and Carrie M. (Hainley) Dieter.
Donton had been employed for many years as a licensed practical nurse by Community General Hospital, and was last employed by the Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, Va., until retiring.
Surviving are four sisters: Charlotte M. (Dieter) Williams and Mary E. (Dieter) Yerger, both of Hamburg, June E. (Dieter) Gehring, Reading, and Jean L. (Dieter) Hafer, Oley.
Other survivors include three brothers: Lynton H. Dieter, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County; Richard D. Dieter, Kenhorst; and Edward G. Dieter, Reading
Services will be Friday at 11a.m. in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., Mount Penn. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township
