Mrs. Harriet Louise (Wilson) Fell, Blanton, Bowers, age 63, left this earth for heaven on February 24, 2006 after a long battle with cancer.

Harriett was a member of the Mount Vernon Salvation Army and had been employed as the night charge nurse at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.

She is survived by her husband, Cyris Bowers; her children, Elva B. Savage, Pat Fell Jr., George Fell and Mark Fell. In addition she has left 11 grandchildren. She has one surviving brother, Edward "Ed" Wilson, and one surviving sister, Sarah Bricker.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Pat Fell and Donald Blanton, her parents; Smokey and Jane (Friedlander) Wilson, four brothers Chuck Wilson, Henry Wilson, David Wilson, and Mark Wilson and a sister Carrie (Wilson) Marshall.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 1 2006 at 5 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 206 E. Ohio Ave in Mount Vernon, OH. Where the family will receive friends one hour before the service. The service is open to all who knew her and would like to attend.
