He enlisted at Bridgewater, Grafton Co, New Hampshire on 10/15/1812 and served a period of 62 days being discharged at Portsmouth, N.H. on 1/1/1815 as a private. His occupation was a farmer. He married Susannah Chase on 2/28/1828 at the home of Moses Parmely, Great Valley, N.Y.
