Mrs. Mildred Knight Baker, age 84, died of COPD Sunday Feb. 12th 2012. She was born in DeSoto Co, Florida on June 4th 1927. She was a certified Nursing assistant. Mildred joined Lake Wire Church of God after growing up in Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jake Knight, daughter Jahala Knight Watson, grandson Skylar Watson. She is survived by her companion T.M. Holt, Lakeland, her son Frankie Knight (Ronda)of Polk City Fl, daughters Peggy Knight Alberson (David), Melinda Knight Kaminski (Jay) both of Lakeland, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Wed Feb 15th 2012 at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 11am Thurs at Socrum Cemetery.
