Anna Mae Adams, 86, of Chillicothe passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Heritage Health in Chillicothe, Ill.

She was born May 15, 1925, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Calvin Dewey and Clara Ellen (Taylor) Lukehart. She married Robert Joe Adams on April 28, 1946, in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1990.

Surviving are her children, Gary Adams of Morton, Sharon (Mike) Johns of Peoria, Joanne (Jim) McMahon of Morton and Pam (Edward) Martin of Sparland. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, one great-grandson and two sisters.

Anna Mae worked for the Ben Franklin store in Chillicothe for many years.

She was of Methodist faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, with visitation one hour prior at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. The Rev. Ray Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
