Lela R. Galbraith, 80, a resident of South Whidbey since 1946 and formerly of Seattle, died March 10, 1985 in Freeland. She was born Feb. 18, 1905 in Dubuque, Iowa to the late Anton and Hulda Hingtgen.
Survivors include a nephew and his wife, Wallace and Laurene Hingtgen of Freeland and a niece and her husband, Effie and Tom Jacobson of Seattle.
No funeral services will be held. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Hedgcock-Visser Funeral Home in Langley.
