Father of Maggie Apperson and Mary Apperson. Attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Attorney in Covington, Kentucky. Served in the Mexican-American War from 1846 to 1847. Attorney in Montgomery County, Kentucky in 1860. Judge of the 11th Judicial District of Kentucky from 1862 to 1866.
