Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he is best remembered for his role as 'Eldin Bernecky' the house painter on the television series, "Murphy Brown" from 1988 to 1994, which also starred Candice Bergen. Pastorelli also starred in such films as, "Modern Vampires" (1998), "Michael" (1996), "The Paint Job" (1992), "Lady Mobster" (1988), "Beverly Hills Cop II" (1987), "Outrageous Fortune" (1987), "I Married A Centerfold" (1984), and was also the voice of 'Tony' in the animated feature, "Ferngully: The Last Rainforest" (1992). Pastorelli was also in the movie "A simple wish" with Kathleen Turner, Martin Short and Amanda Plumber. On television Pastorelli appeared in, "Barney Miller", "Cagney & Lacey", "St. Elsewhere", "Simon & Simon", "Knight Rider", "Remington Steele", "Barney Miller", "Night Court", "The A-Team", and "Miami Vice." Before becoming an actor he was a professional boxer. He was found dead at the age of 49 in his home in the Hollywood Hills, California, in 2004.
