Mrs. Mont Barber, 76, of 208 North St., Plymouth, died at Rocky Knoll Hospital and Sanatorium Sunday following an extended illness. The former lsabelle Hinman, she was born March 23, 1885, in South Dakota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hinman. She moved to Sheboygan County with her parents as a young girl and attended Greenbush grade and high schools.
She was married in Chicago May 23, 1905 to Mont Barber. They lived in Chicago, River Falls, Wis., Fond du Lac, Plymouth and Glenbeulah. They moved back to Plymouth seven years ago.
Mrs. Barber was a member of the Glenbeulah Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, George, Menomonee Falls, Donald, Waukesha and Roland. Las Cruces, N. Mex .; two daughters, Mrs. Hollis (Doris) Chandler, Plymouth, and Mrs. Leonard (Marjorie) Ziegenhagen, Oshkosh; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenbeulah Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Hansen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Green-bush Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 3 p.m. Tuesday to 11 a.m. Wednesday and from noon to the hour of services at the church.
