Major League Baseball Player. Born in Adair, Oklahoma, he was a right handed pitcher making his debut with the Philadelphia Phillies on May 22, 1914. For four seasons, he played with the Philadelphia Phillies (1914-16, 1918) and the Chicago Cubs in 1928. He ended his career with a record of 8 wins, 11 loss, 9 complete games 3 shutouts, 2 saves, 127 strikeouts and a 3.17 earned run average. He died at age 87 in Claremore, Oklahoma.
