BOSLEY FUNERAL HOME OBITUARY – 2011
Alma Elizabeth "Peanuts" Parrott, 80, died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Parrish Medical Center In Titusville, FL, after a short illness. The last three years, she resided in Florida with her son and daughter-in-law. Parrott was a graduate of St. Augustine High School in Lebanon. She was employed at the People's Tobacco Warehouse in Lebanon for many years. "Peanuts" - a devoted wife, mother, and daughter - loved her church, family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Roland Fowler Sr. and Rebecca MeGee Fowler; her husband, Thomas Francis Parrott Sr.; two brothers, Roland Fowler Jr. and W.A. Fowler; and two sisters, Dorothy Wayne and Lila Jobe. Survivors include: her son, Thomas Francis (Mary Lee) Parrott Jr. of Cocoa, FL; three grandchildren, Thomas Francis (Kylee) Parrott III, Travis Lloyd (Michelle) Parrott and Courtney Collier, all of Florida; three great-grandchildren, Jayme, Leah, and Rachel; one sister, Evelyn "Susie" Nicholson of Louisville; two brothers, Joe (Ivy) Fowler of Lebanon and Tom (Jennie) Fowler of Lexington; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank everyone for the many expressions of love for "Peanuts." While there is no doubt she loved being with her family in Florida these last years, it is easy to see why the move from Lebanon was a hard decision. Special thanks to David & Vicky Perkins for the extension of their hearth and home to the family. Deacon Joe Dant officiated at a prayer vigil Thursday evening and a funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 11, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Bell officiated. Pallbearers were Tommy Parrott IIII, Robin Roberts, Rick, Tony & Phil Fowler and Bobby Helm. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.

The obituary was submitted by Frances Ede.
