Visitation will be held from 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, at Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, Services will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.

Survivors include sons, Carl Hanton, III, James and Robert, Jr.; daughters, Lynn Pearson, Carol Nelson; brothers, Floyd Zipperer, Harvey Zipperer, Bobby Zipperer; a sister, Pearl Clark; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
