William "Bill" Gowan, 67, passed into the Lord's care on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel in Alvarado. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Grandview Nursing Home, Box 670, Grandview, Texas 76050, in memory of Bill Gowan.
Survivors: Son, Raymond Gowan and wife, Charolette, of Alvarado; daughters, Penny Hall and husband, Rob, of Itasca and Diana Simmons and husband, Steve, of Burleson; grandchildren, Matthew and Courtney Gowan, Stacey and Chelle Simmons, Nathan and Dalton Rawson; and great-grandchildren, Makinzie, Keegan and Myles.
