Three month old Nataley Jade Agee was found dead in her crib by her 3 year old brother, according to the first report that the child's mother 21 year old Kylee Jean Copeland told police when she called 911 on September 30, 2011.
A post-mortem examination determined that the cause of Nataley's death was blunt force trauma to the head, consistent with child abuse. Small red abrasions on her arms and legs were determined to be roach bites. The medical examiner determined that the child had been dead at least 8 hours, which was inconsistent with the mother's initial story to police.
