David, 65, passed away on February 8, 2012. He was the son of the late Loren and Eleanor (Hempstead) Anderson.

David graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, class of '65' and went on to complete his Bachelor and Master's Degree at Michigan State University. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the early 1970's. He retired from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) after working 30 years for the State of Michigan.

David was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, watching sports, attending MSU football games and vacationing south with a great group of friends.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Judy; daughter, Sherry Anderson (James Corell) Gaylord; son, Kevin Anderson (Amy Memering) of Mason; and 2 grandchildren, Erin and Aiden Corell of Gaylord.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place. The Memorial service was on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Mason.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Sparrow Foundation, Lansing, MI 48909 or to the American Cancer Society, Mid-Michigan Office, East Lansing, MI.
