MRS. DORIS JEWEL ENGLISH
Mrs. Doris Jewel English, 45, passed away Thursday May 9, in Lufkin due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Mrs. English, a dental assistant, was a lifelong resident of Trinity and was a member of the Church of Christ in Trinity.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in the Church of Christ in Trinity with Mr. Rick Hess officiating. Interment followed in the Salem (should be Saron) Cemetery.
Survivors include one son,Don English of Houston; Two daughters, Mrs. Linda Lightsey of Brazoria and Miss. Susan English of Trinity; one brother, Joseph Newton Thompson Jr. of Huntsville; and four grandchildren.
