Glenda F. Shores Adamson, age 63, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, February 6, 2012, in her home.
Glenda was born March 17, 1948, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Edna (Reynolds) Shores. She was united in marriage to Robert D. Adamson on October 11, 1963 in Linnwood, California.
Glenda was a homemaker, she loved to cook, sew, garden, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, at Dawt Mill on the North Fork river.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Shores.
She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Bobby Adamson; four sons, Robert Adamson Jr. ( Kathy) of Fair Grove, Missouri, Billy Adamson (Jennifer) of Springfield, Missouri, Donald Adamson and (Robin) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ronald Adamson (Christy) of Salem, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; one brother, George Adamson of Springfield, Illinois; five sisters, Edith Haupt of McKissack, Arkansas, Daisy Kennedy of Springfield, Missouri, Carol Varela of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marsha Buch of St Charles, Iowa, Pam Stuart of Ontario, Oregon; her mother Edna Shores of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on February 6, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Missouri.
