He was born Sept. 10, 1940, in Shawnee to Robert H. and Lena (DeHart) McCraw.
He graduated from Tribby High School in 1959.
On July 20, 1964, he married Carolyn (Oldham).
He served in the United States Army Reserves.
He worked most of his life at Tecumseh Sunset Estates as housekeeping supervisor.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Tecumseh.
He enjoyed working, O.U. sports and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six sisters, Cecilia Hall, Betty Morgan, Laura Malsbury, Geraldine Duncan, Carlita Moon, and Virginia Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn McCraw of the home; two sons, Steve McCraw and wife, Shannon, of Bartlesville and Jeff McCraw and wife, Kari, of Shawnee; five grandchildren, Kai, Josh, Madilyn, Heather, and Abigail; great-grandson, Ryan Meyer; one brother, Charles McCraw of Oakley, Calif.; one sister, Abanita Maxwell and husband Jack of Tecumseh; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
