Audrey "Ellen" Dannenbrock, 92, of Hamilton, Montana, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 18, 1917, in Bozeman, Montana, to the late Gail and Lola Gumm DeAtley. Ellen grew up on a ranch near Clyde Park, near Wilsall. She attended a one-room schoolhouse, riding six miles on horseback. Ellen finished high school in Bozeman.
She was married to Lonnie "Lon" Dannenbrock for 62 years. Married in 1948, they had three children: Sue Dannenbrock of Utah, Kay Lambert of Hamilton, and Jim Dannenbrock and his significant other, Cindy, both of Hamilton; and numerous grandchildren.
She had two children by an earlier marriage: Ron (Susan) Kephart and Nancy Garcia. Ellen was a fourth generation Montanan, an avid reader, and worked as a beauty operator.
Private family urn placement has taken place at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
