She was the daughter of Elisha and Margaret "Peggy" (Elmore) Eudaly, natives of Charlotte Co., Virginia. She grew up in Kentucky and (possibly in Shelby Co., Indiana) and in Marion Co., Indiana. She married Charles G. Featherston August 21, 1838 in Marion Co. Charles was a cousin to her as his grandmother was Lucy (Elmore) Featherston.

She was the mother of 14 children: Eliza Jane Green Penrose, Nancy Ellen Bradfield, Jeremiah, Charles, Narcissa Syvila Johnson, Margaret F. Campbell, Maria Bradfield, Elizabeth Atkins, Andrew Jackson, Franklin Pierce, Lucinda Gresh, Melissa E. Mark, Mary A. Day and James William. She had three sets of twins: Eliza Jane and Nancy Ellen, Andrew Jackson and Franklin Pierce, Lucinda and Melissa. Also, two of her sisters were twins. So, it appears that the twin tendancy traces back to the Eudalys. The family lived near Noblesville in the 1850s and later settled near Old Augusta in Marion Co. She died sometime in the Fall of 1870.

Searching for burial places for Narcissa S. Johnson and Maria Bradfield.

Note: Narcissa had an older brother named James E. Eudaly (1808-1885), #14947791. He is buried at Union-Graham Cemetery, Winfield, Cowley Co., KS. She did not have a brother named Rev. Elisha James Eudaily of NC. That Elisha is likely a cousin of some sort.

The grave is currently unmarked. Maybe it was marked at one point in time.

Narcissa was the great-great-granddaughter of Elizabeth (Woodson) Goode. She was a 5th cousin once removed to Jesse Woodson James. Another memorial for Jesse.
