Elizabeth A. (Clark) Chase, 94, of Rockland died Jan. 30, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Cohasset. She was born in Easton, daughter of Roger and Sarah (Johnson) Clark and was raised and educated in there. Elizabeth was a member of the Class of 1935, at Oliver Ames High School in Easton. Mrs. Chase moved to Rockland in 1937 and had made the town her home ever since. She worked as a typesetter for the Wire Printing Company, and later the Gem Gravure Company in Hanover, from where she retired in 1988. Mrs. Chase was a member of the First Congregational Church in Rockland. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Edward F. Chase of Rockland. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Elizabeth's life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral home service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Spring Lake Cemetery.
