Crockett, Mrs. William R.
Mrs. William R. Crockett, 68, of 2215 Summer died in a local hospital at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilkerson and Hatch chapel with Rev. V. M. Cloyd, pastor of Grace Temple Baptist Church, officiating and burial in Rosemound Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ray Sewell, B. H. Bruce, H. H. Harris, Billy Kirkland, B. E. Campbell, and Jim Walker.
Mrs. Crockett had lived in Waco the past 24 years. She is survived by her husband, four sons, J.C. Crockett of Dallas, W.C., M.L., and W.W. Crockett all of Waco; three brothers, T. W. Long of Dallas, Walter Long of Mexia, and Charles Long of Eastland County: a sister, Mrs. Oliver Myers of Eastland County and five grandchildren.
