Louise May Wright was the daughter of Benjamin
Franklin Wright and Lena Mae Blanks Wright.
She had two brothers, Thomas B. and James B. Wright. Louise had a child out of wedlock by Jerry Flaxnor. She was Betty Mae, born 13 May 1926 in Laurel, Jones County, MS. Betty Mae was adopted by a Frost family and grew up in Alabama.
Louise married Steward T. Bass about 1927 and had
2 sons.

Miss Louise Wright News has reached the city of the death of Miss Louise Wright, which occurred in Jackson on Wednesday night caused by pneumonia. The body is expected to reach Meridian on Thursday at 5:45 pm and will be taken to Williams Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Wright Bass whose death occurred in Jackson on Wednesday will be held at the family residence in Toomsuba, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Dr. A.A. Little, pastor of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Meridian, will officiate. Interment is to follow in the Toomsuba Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Casper Phillips, Albert Woodall, Leander Price, Russell Wright, Gilbert Fikes, and Elmer Horner. Mrs. Bass is survived by two sons; Ted and James; her mother, Mrs. Lena Mae Wright of Toomsuba; her father, B.F. Wright of Kewanee; her grandmother, Mrs. M.A. Blanks of Toomsuba; two brothers, Thomas B. Wright of Philadelphia and James Wright of Meridian. Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MS Death Certificate # 34-15856 says she died in State Charity Hospital 11:45 PM on 3 October 1934. Cause of death "poisoned by over dose of drug, possibly barbital,
suicide".
She was born in Birmingham, AL, parents B. F. Wright and
Lena Mae Blanks. Lena Mae Wright was the informant.
Interment in Toomsuba Cemetery on 4 October 1934.
DC says she was widowed. I think she may have been divorced.
J. L. Thompson, M. D., Miss State Charity Hospital, was the certifying physician.
