Jimmie A. Amundson, 86, of Proctor died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000 in Lake Haven Manor. He was born Aug. 8, 1913 in Wolf Creek, Wis. to Albert and Alice Amundson.

He retired as a conductor in 1967 from the DM&IR. He built numerous homes in the Proctor area. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1302 in Proctor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons: Lowell (Jeanne) Amundson, Jimmy (Ronnie) Amundson; daughter, Nancy (Nick) Royer; step-son, Steve (Arlene) Okstad; stepdaughters: Kathy (Bob) Hanson, Diane (Tim) Zawistowski, Janice Erickson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Oneota Cemetery.
