Ms. Tanya E. Jackson-Little entered into eternal rest unexpectedly & tragically January 26, 2004. Her young and beautiful life was taken away by an insecure boyfriend who also took his own life as well.

She was the devoted mother of daughter Destinee Elena and son Brian Zory - her children were her life and what she lived for most. She was also a friend to all she met and a wonderful Christian whom I know now sits beside the throne of her Savior. Tanya had a way of bringing a smile or a laugh to anyone feeling down. She, her laughter and jokes will be so deeply missed. Tanya had the kindest of hearts of anyone I know - I witnessed this amazing woman help a barefoot woman on the side of the road by bringing her into our place of employment, giving the young girl the shoes off of her own feet and calling for help before giving this girl money from her own pocket and wishing her well as help came for her. God blessed her and He blessed those of us who were honored to have her, albeit briefly, in our lives. She is now a special angel in Heaven who will live on in our hearts forever.

She is also survived by her mother, Ms. Martha Brown Jackson; father, Joseph Jackson, Jr. (Amy); brother, Ossian Kotto Jackson; aunts, Florence Robinson (Julius), Patricia McShan, Mary B. Johnson (Harold), Winnie B. Green (Leon), Louise B. Bryan; uncles, Herbert Lee Brown, Isiah Brown, William James Jackson (Maria), Patrick Morgan Jackson; adopted aunt, Jannette F. Smith; a sister-cousin, Adrianne J. Smith; nieces, nephews, cousins; and so many, many loving friends and co-workers.

We love and miss you, Tanya!!
